I think some of my favorite shoots are maternity sessions. Pregnant women are so beautiful, and it is such a meaningful time. I had the opportunity to photograph Erika last Friday at the Duke Gardens. Erika is adorable! We had a great time together just chatting and laughing. She was incredibly relaxed and natural in front of the camera, so we were able to get some great shots. Here are a few I really liked from our morning together...
I think this picture is so sweet...
The Duke Gardens are so fun because there is always something new in bloom there. We found this awesome patch of palms in the Japanese Gardens. I love the way the light plays on the leaves...
I know this next one doesn't have the "belly" but I think it is gorgeous of Erika!
These last two were my favorite photos from the day...

The Jones Family
Last Wednesday, I met the Jones family at Pullen Park in Raleigh. It is the cutest place! Complete with a pond, bridges, a caboose and playground. The girls had a fun time exploring and playing all over this sweet little place. I love photographing sisters because I am the youngest of three girls and these sisters were adorable together! Here are a couple of my favorites...
lovely Ellia...
adorable Lyla (check out the amazing faces she makes)...
Because I am a youngest child I love these next few photos...
I LOVE sisters!

Benjamin
Last Monday, I met Benjamin and his parents at UVA. The weather was perfect! It was a gorgeous sunny spring day. The lovely trees and architecture made for some beautiful backdrops. We just played and laughed and let Benjamin be the fun-loving little 2-year-old he is. Check out his big brown eyes and rosey cheeks, they will melt your heart!
of course little play time...
i love the next three...
