On Wednesday Hayston and I went over to a friend's house for his first "play date." Miles was born just a day after Hayston but weighed almost 3 lbs less than our big guy. We had so much fun hanging out with Miles and his wonderful family! Chelsea (Miles' mom) and I are hoping that Hayston and Miles will be great friends one day. While I was there I took a few photos for Chelsea of Miles and his big sister Ada. They are such an adorable family!! Here are a couple of my favorites...
love the blue eyes!
big sister Ada...
I love this series of Ada eating lunch...so adorable!
some Mommy time...
love this one!
I can't wait to pull out this picture of Hayston and Miles laying side-by-side when they are older...(so embarrassing)
BIG stretch...
and lastly, I think my favorite from the day...
Thanks for having us over guys!

the Glushik family
This weekend I had the opportunity to photograph the adorable Glushik family. Robyn and John are the proud parents of their precious 7 week-old son, Evan. I had so much fun with them. Evan was wonderful the whole time and put up with me disturbing his afternoon. I love his chubby little cheeks! How can you resist such a cute little face? Here are a couple of my favorites from my afternoon with this sweet family...
love the lighting in this sweet moment...
don't you just want to kiss those cheeks!
one of John and Robyn's friends made this adorable hat, I couldn't get enough of it...
Evan was so cute with his mom when she sat like this. He kept jumping up and down and smiling at her, so sweet!
a sweet smile for dad...
some beautiful fall light...
of course, one of the whole family...
again, with those cute cheeks...
big yawn...
and snuggle-time...
I love Evan's face in this one...
Evan was so good and awake for most of the session, but I think I wore the poor little guy out...

Katy: Bridal Portraits
Katy and I had a great time together on Tuesday exploring UNC's campus for her bridal portraits. Katy was looking for something a little different so we utilized the graphic murals on Franklin Street, the gorgeous arbor in the Coker Arboretum and the rustic Forest amphitheater. I love taking urban bridals! The contrast between the elegant white dress and the urban texture and architecture is amazing. If you are considering a bridal portrait, think about taking this approach, I think it makes for dynamic photos. Don't forget to click on the images to see the full detail. Thanks again, Katy, I can't wait for your wedding next weekend at the Carolina Inn!
this one is straight out of a magazine, so gorgeous!
Love this brick wall...
we found this beautiful green door, I love the color and texture...
Love the lighting...
I think Katy looks beautiful in black and white...
I think this one is my favorite, I love the color and texture with her gorgeous dress...
