Jill and Reese

Jill and Reese are an adorable couple with whose wedding I was able to assist a couple weeks ago. It was a beautiful, outdoor wedding at Rock Hill Plantation House in Stafford County. The wedding was so romantic and picturesque. Jill thought through all the little details, including having parasols for all the guests to fight off the hot sun. It felt like we were in another time period. I had a great time capturing the fun and tender moments throughout the day.

Congratulations Reese and Jill!

More Bride Photos

Because of her dark hair and pale skin, Christy was such a beautiful bride in black and white that I couldn't resist putting up a few of my favorites of her...

And one more of the cute couple...

Christine and Danylo

It was so much fun photographing Dan and Christy's wedding this past Saturday. They had a beautiful outdoor wedding at Heritage Hunt Golf Club in Gainesville, Va. Everyone endured a little heat for a lovely ceremony location. It was such a fun and laid back day that I had a blast being a part of it all. Congratulations you two!

Erik and Lori

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to shoot engagement photos for my good friends, Lori and Erik. I get to be a part of their big day this December in Charlottesville, and I can't wait. I enjoyed finding beautiful architecture and natural settings to match up with this sweet couple, as we wandered around the lawn and gardens of UVA. I had so much fun capturing not only the sweet and tender moments between this couple, but the funny and ridiculous ones as well. When I showed John the funny photos we took, he laughed so hard he cried. We had so much fun, you would never know that we had to brave some pretty nasty humidity and a couple severe mosquito attacks on Lori. Although it was impossible to choose, here are a few of my favorites. Congratulations again, you two!

and a few funny ones...
