Jeff and Kimberly: wedding

Last weekend John and I photographed Jeff and Kim's wedding in Raleigh. It was a lovely ceremony and reception. Kim really put a lot into all the details and it made for a wonderful day. Jeff is such a sweet guy and you can tell he really adores Kim, which made it so fun to photograph them. Here are a few from the fun day!love the lighting in the next two...their adorable flower girl and ringbearer...sweet first dance...Kim and Jeff had an Italian vineyard wedding and I thought this was such a great idea for place cards...gorgeous flowers...so sweet!Congrats, again, you two! Thanks again for such a great day!

Fall Portrait Special

With the weather beginning to change, fall has arrived (my favorite time of year!). It is time to start thinking of the holidays with all the amazing food, warm fires in the fireplace, football, lots of family time and of course those yearly holiday cards.

Erin and Casey: the wedding

John and I had so much fun last week with Erin and Casey. You may remember Erin from her bridal portraits at Duke Gardens a few weeks ago. They got married last Saturday at Wakefield Baptist Church with a lovely reception at Wakefield Plantation. Their families were so wonderful and their large wedding party kept us laughing all day. It was a beautiful celebration! Here are a few of my favorites from the day...

the boys...the boys were hilarious and when I asked the boys to stand together in a line, they spontaneously broke out into the can-can...we couldn't resist the tractor!and one for the moms...This may be my favorite picture from the day. It was immediately after the ceremony and you can just see feel the love and excitement Casey and Erin are feeling, such a beautiful moment...we had to utilize the beautiful sunset for this last romantic photo...Thanks again, Casey and Erin! We had a blast!
