Tammie and Will

This weekend I had the opportunity to photograph a picturesque fall wedding with my friend, Sarah Cramer. Tammie and Will had a beautiful outdoor wedding at Ash Lawn-Highland, outside of Charlottesville, Va. The ceremony was in a sweet little garden surrounded by autumn-colored trees and rolling Virginia hills. The reception was under a tent romantically lit with lanterns and tulle-wrapped Christmas lights, it was perfect! Despite the cold and rainy weather on Friday, Saturday turned out to be a wonderful fall day. All of the colors and fall light created gorgeous moments for this beautiful couple. Congratulations, Tammie and Will!

Judah

Last weekend my mom, sister and nephew, Judah, came down to help John and I move into our new house in Durham, NC. Because of the move, I haven't had much time to take pictures so I was excited to snap a few of my cute nephew toddling around. His new love is the piano and trying to walk. Here are a few of my favorites...just check out those adorable baby-blue eyes!

The Procter Family

Last week I had a blast photographing some of John and I's close friends, the Procter family. Their children are so sweet and fun. We had a great time playing and joking all around their house. In true childlike playfulness, the day was full of breakdancing, swinging, skipping, laughter and lots of hugs and kisses. It was so fun to be a part of this adorable family!

Kelly and Jimmy

Last Saturday I had the opportunity to assist Sarah Cramer, a local Charlottesville photographer. We photographed the breathtaking wedding of Kelly and Jimmy in Crozet, Virginia. The service was in a sweet, little country church, Emmanuel Episcopal, and the reception was at the gorgeous King Family Vineyards. It was a story book wedding with Jimmy in his formal uniform and Kelly in her cascading dress, all in front of a rolling Blue Ridge backdrop. A photographer couldn't ask for a better scenario. They were adorable and so in love...what a privilege to shoot such a picturesque wedding! Congratulations, again, Kelly and Jimmy!
